What’s up bitches?! I’m baaack. I’ll be around again doing reviews, giving you the hot & hip new songs to download (and songs to avoid like a bad STD!) So stay tuned. In the meantime I have been taking in the fun on RockStar Supernova. It’s no secret how much I enjoyed last years foray with INXS. But actually at first I HATED the idea. I mean INXS to me was sacred and would never be INXS without Michael Hutchence. Well color me happy when they proved me wrong. I loved the show, the performers and of course my favorite rock god lust piece Dave Navarro.
This year it’s a brand new gig with Tommy Lee (Former Motley Crue drummer for anyone living under a rock), Gilbey Clark (Formerly of Guns N Roses) and Jason Newstead (Metallica). I’m kind of jumping in at the middle of the season as in posting recaps…but I have been watching from the beginning. (Minus last night due to my little trip to the ER).
Tonight they had two performers do encores. Lukas did a really awesome on Radiohead’s “Creep”. The song really fit his voice and he definitely brought it up a notch from last week. The next encore was Magni doing Live’s “The Dolphin’s Cry”. On performance night he stripped it down and did a really passionate acoustic version of the song. For the encore he kicked it up and rocked the house. But in the end somebody had to go home and this week…they sent TWO people home, Josh & Jill. I really liked Josh a lot, but his style was not the style that Supernova was looking for at all. Jill, eh…not going to miss so much.
Well next week the 8 remaining rockers get to go to Vegas with Supernova. I’m sure Zayra will be stealing clothes from Dave’s closet again. And I’m sure now that it’s down to 8 the competition is going to start getting fierce. Til next Tuesday bitches!

I hate that dumb ass Zayra too. I part of me wishes they would end up with that git and be forced to tour with her since they kept “saving” her.
I’m going to miss Josh. If he put together some great songs and put them out, I’d buy them. I love his voice.
Jill is almost as bad a Zayra, so I’m glad she’s gone.
I read somewhere that the contestants are afraid that this gig isn’t really “real” since all the band members have their own thing going on and that this is just promotional TV crap. But, who cares? It could launch their careers even if they only tour 6 months then disband!
I never saw it last year with INXS because (don’t hate me Lysie) I didn’t care for the band.
But when I heard this year’s , I was allllll over it.

Zayra needs to go, but I think they’re keeping her on for the entertainment factor.
I’m hoping that Lucas will win. I think he’s talented and that his voice suits the bands style. Plus the guys seem to like him. I personally want him to win because that will be two Canadians from Toronto in a row winning Rock Star. They won’t need to do these shows anymore, they can just come to my hometown and do auditions.
