As Lucy mentioned in the post below, we do have a new site. I know, I know, this is the third time we’ve moved, BUT it’s the last time! We’ve got our own domain, itsallfluff.com, and we plan to stay there!

Tomorrow is supposed to be the big day, but pretty much all the past posts are already there on the new site. So go ahead and change your blogroll to the new address. This site will still be here for a little while to redirect those who are late to the party.

What’s up bitches?! I’m baaack. I’ll be around again doing reviews, giving you the hot & hip new songs to download (and songs to avoid like a bad STD!) So stay tuned.  In the meantime I have been taking in the fun on RockStar Supernova.  It’s no secret how much I enjoyed last years foray with INXS. But actually at first I HATED the idea.  I mean INXS to me was sacred and would never be INXS without Michael Hutchence. Well color me happy when they proved me wrong.  I loved the show, the performers and of course my favorite rock god lust piece Dave Navarro.

This year it’s a brand new gig with Tommy Lee (Former Motley Crue drummer for anyone living under a rock), Gilbey Clark (Formerly of Guns N Roses) and Jason Newstead (Metallica).  I’m kind of jumping in at the middle of the season as in posting recaps…but I have been watching from the beginning.  (Minus last night due to my little trip to the ER).

Tonight they had two performers do encores.  Lukas did a really awesome on Radiohead’s “Creep”.  The song really fit his voice and he definitely brought it up a notch from last week.  The next encore was Magni doing Live’s “The Dolphin’s Cry”. On performance night he stripped it down and did a really passionate acoustic version of the song.  For the encore he kicked it up and rocked the house. But in the end somebody had to go home and this week…they sent TWO people home, Josh & Jill. I really liked Josh a lot, but his style was not the style that Supernova was looking for at all.  Jill, eh…not going to miss so much.

Well next week the 8 remaining rockers get to go to Vegas with Supernova. I’m sure Zayra will be stealing clothes from Dave’s closet again.  And I’m sure now that it’s down to 8 the competition is going to start getting fierce. Til next Tuesday bitches!

Okay first off, yes, this is still Lucy, despite the change in the avatar. It goes with my new blog template that I got this week. And no, my boobs are no where near that perky in real life (don’t I wish?!?!?!?!?). On to the show, which sucked big ones in my opinion. BIG ONES. Last night’s episode was taken up primarily with the PoV competition, which was dumb and left Danielle pissed off, shocked and in solitary confinement. And, left Janey with the PoV.

At the open, we see the houseguests right after the nomination ceremony. Janey is furious at her nomination and totally believes that hack acting job by James. He is acting hurt/shocked/upset at his nomination for her benefit. He doesn’t want her to know that he now hates her and is working with the other side. She totally buys it and comiserates with him about how awful it is being nominated. She gets close to figuring it out; actually, she DOES figure it out and calls James out about how he could just be a pawn, but he assures her that is not the case. And she buys it. Dumb bunny.

Marcellas brings up the rumor of Danielle’s alliance with Chilltown and James to Danielle, but then says that it can’t be true because she NEVER would have nominated James if she was really in an alliance with him. Nope, she wouldn’t, no way sir! So, this was a good move strategically for Danielle because it has thrown the wolves off the scent of her alliance, but could backfire on James.

For some reason I can’t quite fathom, Dr. Will and Howie-fat-Jackass are into shaving themselves. They like to keep their bodies completely free of fur. Boogie (**snicker**) refuses to participate saying it is way to metrosexual an activity for him. In a moment of weakness (boredom?) George agrees to be shaved. He’s one hairy monkey, let me tell you!!!

He leaves the shaving arena and goes up to visit Danielle in the HoH room. He flat tells her that he isn’t going to make it to the end. She realizes then that she and George are the only two in the house with children on the outside and that it is very hard on both of them being away from their families. George thinks Danielle is going to make it to the final and swears that he is there for her. She realizes that he isn’t playing a game here, he is geniune and these are his feelings so they end the conversation with a giant hug. Duh, George isn’t capable of playing the lying, cheating, sneaking backstabbing game that everyone else is!

Erika, Dr. Will and Janey are all laying on the floor together when Erika asks Dr. Will if he’d marry her and Janelle. What a TRAMP!!! She was asking Kaysar to marry her just a few weeks ago. Howie-fat-Jackass intrudes on their alone time, which pisses Dr. Will off. He can’t stand to not be part of this gorgeousness sandwhich and it is eating him alive that they won’t include him.

PoV time. Danielle choose Dr. Will to play, Janey chooses Marcellas (because she is totally clueless about how much he hates her now) and James gets Boogie (**snort**) int he game. They head out to the backyard to find it layed out like a graveyard. Danielle almost has a stroke on the spot thinking they are going to have to actually lay in coffins. Nope, they lay on the ground between the coffins, with a buzzer in one hand and a scoreboard above their head. They can’t see each other during this competition. Erika announces from inside the house that this is a game of give and take. They will all be offered certain things, luxuries for the house, punishments for the house, and these things will either add points to their score, or take them away. The person with the highest score at the end of the game wins the PoV.

Danielle is confident that since her entire alliance is in the game (the Legion of Doom), they’ve got this one tied up in a neat little package. Wrong. She forgot that Dr. Will and Boogie (**hahahaha**) don’t play for anyone but themselves. When it came to things like giving up points for $5,000 Dr. Will was all over that. Give up points for a flat panel TV and a trip for two to Aruba? Boogie’s got it covered. James gives up points for a margarita party for the house and a phone call from home. Danielle takes points for willing to spend 24 hours in solitary confinement. Janey gets points for being willing to put the 4 houseguests not playing the game on slop for a week and for having all the beds removed and replaced with Army cots and NO HOT WATER for a week. In the end, it was Janey who has the most points, and the evil witch wins the PoV. DAMN! This leads Danielle to fume in the diary room about her alliance, changing their name to the Legion of STOOOPID. She is mad and disappointed in them all.

Dr. Will manages to convince the entire house that Marcellas was the greedy bastard that got the cash and the plasma screen TV. Soon after the competition, they are all sure it was Marcellas and are ready to evict him.

Time for the margarita party for the house. Well, for everyone except the 4 that didn’t play (they are now on slop rations) and Danielle (she’s in solitary confinement). George does get to participate because he has a slop free pass still. Mexican food buffet, and all the margies they can consume.

After the party is over, they all head back in to sleep on their Army cots and take cold, cold showers. Ick. Danielle is let out of the room the next day to hugs and kisses from her housemates. She immediately tries to catch up on what’s been going on for the last day. Boogie (**hahaha**) fills her in on the deal with Marcellas. They’ve managed to convince everyone that Marcellas needs to go and Boogie tries to convince Danielle that when Janey takes herself off the block, she should put Marcellas up there. That way, James is safe, which was the plan all along. Even James makes this plea to Danielle. His rationale is that Marcellas will come after Danielle if they don’t get him out of the house now.

The PoV ceremony starts and very predictably, Janey takes herself off the block. Danielle has to pick a new lamb for the slaughter. After some thought, she ends up back-dooring Kaysar to the chopping block. Instead of taking the safe route and getting Marcellas out of the house, she holds true to her original plan that by God, one of the season 6 people is going to go home. NOW DAMMIT.

**sigh** Not my Kaysar. Really. I’m just sayin’.

Tune in Thursday night at 7pm CST on CBS to watch it all go down. And I’ve got all my parts crossed that it is NOT Kaysar going home. He’s too pretty.

So, Thursday night we were left hangin, so to speak, with a cliff hanger. Who would win the coveted Head of Household? Who would wield the power this week? Which season 6er would it be?? Last nights episode opened up where Thursday’s left off. Several asshats hanging on a huge spider web. 5 eggs below with various things in it from rotten junk to $10,000 for the first 5 that drop off the web. This web tilts, spins and shoots the houseguests with some kind of cream (shaving? whipped?).

The first one off the web is Dr. Will, to no one’s shock. I’ve never seen anyone who quit so much win so much. How in southern hell did he win season 2? He is ALWAYS the first one out in every competition! I guess winning those little competitions don’t measure up to winning the whole she-bang, does it? So, he drops off and picks and egg. Before he smashes it, one of the remaining houseguests (Danielle? Erika?) hollers at him and ask him and everyone else to agree that whoever gets the slop free pass gives it to George. Poor George has been on slop a LONG time. Initially Dr. Will says hell no, he won’t give it up for George, but then he turns and says he was just joshin….he’ll give George the slop free pass if its in his egg. He selects an egg, tosses it and ends up with……rotten yuck.

Two hours into the game, Janelle and Dr. Will are the only ones not on the web (she was outgoing HoH, therefore could not compete) and they go outside to tell everyone congratulations for hanging on this long, but to announce that the game was now changing. Now they cannot sit on the web, they must hang from the under side of the web. This will greatly complicate things for the remaining houseguests. During this transition, James almost falls but saves himself – for another 10 minutes. He drops and picks an egg, smashing it to reveal the prize that allows him to nullify one eviction vote. Boogie (**snort**) drops off and picks the $10,000 egg. Yay for him! Next is Kaysar, who selects the remaining rotten egg. Okay, for those counting, that only leaves Howie Jackass from season 6 on the web and one egg left, with the slop free pass.
As an aside, the show cuts to a scene either before or after the competition (it isn’t clear which it is) between Howie and Danielle where she sits him down, and in a motherly way tells him that he really is no longer Howie Jackass, he’s becoming Howie FATass. Yep, Howie FATass has gained a bunch of weight in the month they’ve been in the house. He eats constantly. Consuming an entire bag of chips in one sitting, eating tons of ice cream…his 6-pack has turned into a 12-pack and is on its way to becoming a party ball.

Back to the competition. In a voice over, George says that he was so concentrated on winning the HoH competition that the thought of dropping off and claiming the slop free pass never crossed his mind. And ya know what? I kind of believe him. Marcellas finally drops, claiming the slop free pass. That leaves Howie-fat-Jackass, Erika and Danielle. Danielle almost drops out at this point but musters up the strength to hang on as Howie-fat-Jackass gives in. Danielle pleads with Erika to let go making a deal with her to NOT put her up and Erika falls for it, plunging to the mat. Danielle is the new HoH and declares herself the “Black Widow”.

THANK GOD IT IS NOT A SEASON 6 PERSON!! WOO HOO!!

Dr. Will’s back is sore from hefting Boogie (**snort**) up after his PoV win last week, and says that its hard to recuperate from an injury when you are living on ketchup. Kaysar tries to fix it by stretching and twisting Dr. Will’s body to crack his back, then Danielle tries to fix it by massaging his spine, then Kaysar tries again, all to no avail. Danielle wants to know what that bony bump is on Dr. Will’s back – to which he exclaims, “It’s my spine poking through my skin!” Poor Dr. Will.

The season 6ers gang up on James asking who he thinks Danielle will put up this week. He only says that he thinks she’ll put up Janelle because of her nomination of floaters last week. He apparently doesn’t have a clue who the other nomination is. Behind their backs, James calls Janey an “Anna Nicole Smith wannabe”….I’m thinking he’ll be voting to evict Janey after she pissed him off so bad last week, no?

Danielle’s HoH room is green, green, green. Which is a huge improvement over the Pepto-palace that was Janelle’s room last week. Janey snarks that she prefers it that nauseating Pepto-pink when it was her room.

Down in the kitchen the houseguests find pizza. Everyone is excited except for George, who is STILL on slop rations, until Marcellas sacks up and gives George his slop free pass. He takes it in one hand and a slice o’ pie in the other, grinning like a 5 year old on Christmas morning. As a matter of fact, he eats the pizza while still holding the slop free pass. Good old Georgie finally got some real food.

Danielle pulls James aside and tells him that she is putting him up against Janelle for eviction as a pawn. She is very confident that he can pull out the PoV and save himself so he is safe. He is alarmed/worried/pissed/scared, but there isn’t anything he can do about it. Danielle has the power this week, not him. Marcellas pulls Danielle aside and says she should nominate Janey and Kaysar. Danielle doesn’t like this because Marcellas has turned on Janey so fast. This worries her a bit about Marcellas’ loyalty to anyone other than Marcellas.

She pulls Kaysar aside and tries to make him explain why season 6 has nominated/voted the way they have so far in the game but he can’t explain it. Even he doesn’t fully understand their strategy. Ummm, maybe because there IS no strategy? Their strategy has been a simple game of numbers and competition strength. They are in danger of losing that this week. Kaysar accuses her of having an alliance with James, but she assures him she is only playing for herself. To herself (and the American viewing public) she announces her intentions to make sure that someone from season 6 walks this week. We’ll see.

The stupidest ever key pulling nomination ceremony is called to order and Danielle announces that her nominations this week are a direct result of the nominations last week.  Everyone’s key is pulled except Janelle and James.  According to her, the put up the “two most bad-ass players from season 6″, but we all know she put up The Bunny and The Whiner.  Power of Veto competition is important this week.  Whatever happens, we do NOT want Janey to win the PoV and take herself off the block.  She really MUST go.  Really.  I’m just sayin’.

Tune in Tuesday at 7pm CST on CBS for the PoV ceremony and keep your fingers crossed against Janelle.

Janelle is screwing herself up in this game in a HUGE way.  Stupid, stupid bunny.  She has made an enemy of James and Marcellas this week by her nomination of Diane and both now swear they are coming after her.  Good grief.  I swear, if she wins one more HoH competition, I’m gonna puke.  All over her Pepto palace.  Blech. 

The season 6 alliance is finally beginning to splinter, as I think we all knew it would.  James declares he is done with them and that alliance and will do everything in his power to get rid of them, starting with Janelle.  He says that the very next HoH he wins will guarantee Janelle a spot on the chopping block.  We’ll see.  He seems to change his mind at the same frequency with which I change my knickers.  He and Danielle begin talking about a possible new “power 4″ alliance of them and Chilltown.  They think that if they all bonded together in solidarity, they could become the power players in the game instead of the season 6 folks.  I personally think that Chilltown is the power in the house right now, all by themselves and don’t need Danielle and James pulling them down, but Chilltown seems to be somewhat receptive to the idea – at least on the surface.  With those two boys, there is never any telling what is really going on. 

Marcellas now hates Janelle.  Hates her, hates her, hates her.  Such a change from just last week when they would bathe together, do each others nails, and talk about boys like all best girlfriends do.  Just 2 weeks ago they talked about how fabulous it would be for them to be the final two.  My, my, my how things have changed so quickly!  All because Janelle put up Diane instead of Dr. Will.  Marcellas thinks that Janey is just giving the game to Chilltown by her stupid decisions.  He also doesn’t like how she is cozying up to every boy in the house, calling her disgusting.  Hallelujah!!  Someone other than ME hates the bunny and says it outloud!  Woo hoo! 

Janey retreats to her Pepto Palace to boo-hoo about how upset she is over the nomination ceremony.  She talks to Kaysar and begins to second guess her actions (too late).  He tries to make her feel okay with her decision, but in the end he says it like it is.  Janey’s actions may very well have removed the huge target from Chilltown and placed it squarely on season 6.  And it’s all her fault.  Stupid. 

The shot cuts back to the Chen-bot who goes out to talk to the houseguests live.  She wants to know how Dr. Will is holding up, given that he was not nominated….again.  He chuckles and says he’s really upset about it.  We all know he is secretly thrilled.  She also wants to know what they all thought about the wake up calls from America earlier in the week – which Marcellas lables as “sadistic”.  Hell son, it was FUNNY! 

Earlier in the week, Diane was trying like hell to lock up some votes in her favor so she could stay in the house, but it seems that Erika beat her to it.  She appeared to have them all locked up.  Diane pouts, pissed off because she knows she’s going home and doesn’t want to.  Well duh, of course she doesn’t want to…there is $500,000 at stake.  But, more than that, she wants to stay in the house to go after Janey because “it’s personal now”.  In other words (Danielle’s words to be exact), IT’S ON. 

In the HoH room the Chen-bot talks to Janey about the week and asks her if she’s developing a little crushy-crush on Dr. Will.  Janey tries to be all offended by this question and says that they are “just good friends”.  Whatever.  She also declares her loyalty to her alliance and admits that Marcellas is no longer a part of it.  What a liar, huh? 

Time to vote and its going to happen live tonight.  Both Erika and Diane are given one last chance to plea their case, and Erika says some mushy stuff about how much she loves everyone, blah blah blah.  It works and Diane is evicted in a 7 – 1 vote (Dr. Will was the only one to vote for Erika).  She bails out of the house and talks to the Chen-bot for a few minutes.  The Chen-bot asks about the alleged Mr & Mrs Smith alliance with Jase and Diane says if it existed, it only existed in HIS mind.  Hahahaha.  She watches her goodbye tapes, most of them are really nice, George is sad, Dr. Will is sad, Boogie (**snicker**) is definately sad and Howie Jackass is a JACKASS.  Of course. He blathers on about how Diane “looked good by the pool, looked good in the kitchen, looked good in the bedroom” etc.  What a dirtbag Jackass.  Marcellas gives the best goodbye though, swearing vengence on Janelle in Diane’s honor if he gets a chance.  You go boy! 

The HoH competition is up and they all head to the backyard.  A giant spiderweb is set up and they are instructed to climb up on it.  This is an endurance competition – whoever can hang on the longest wins HoH.  If any part of their body touches the mat below, they are out.  Of course, they are going to screw with them while on this stupid web.  They will shoot goo at them and move the web around trying to knock folks off.  For those who fall off intentionally, they can choose between 5 golden eggs.  One contains $10,000, one contains a “slop-free” pass and one contains the power to cancel an eviction vote.  The other two are rotten.  If you jump off, choose wisely.  

Oddly, this week, they chose to end the episode there, with everyone sitting on the web.  We won’t know until Sunday night who won the HoH competition (okay – I know who won it, from the live feeds, but I ain’t tellin!).  Tune in Sunday at 7pm CST on CBS to see who won!   

I am back from my mini-vacation in Chicago. All I can say is, DAYUM it was HOT! But it was good. Due to my being on vacation, I completely missed Sunday’s episode, but the gist of it was that Janelle put Erika and Boogie (**hahahaha**) up for eviction. I guess she sees Erika as a floater, and Boogie (**hee hee**) is part of the Chilltown alliance that everyone makes all this noise about wanting to get rid of, but no one ever does.

I made it home just in time to catch Tuesdays episode, just in time to see Boogie (**snort**) win the Power of Veto. This was important because it forced Janelle to pick someone else to put on the block. Janelle and Boogie (**snicker**) discussed what would happen if he won the PoV, and she promised not to put Will up there, but put a floater up instead. Seems to me that Janelle is beginning to roll to the dark side of the Chilltown alliance. This is NOT sitting well with her season 6 asshats. Especially James. Is it just me, or is he just the whiniest bitch on the face of the planet???

The PoV competition was announced the night before it was to take place which is unusual. The houseguests were told that America was given the opportunity to call in and leave wake up messages for the houseguests and also to vote on how often they would be woken up thoughout the night. The choices were every 3 hours, every 1 hour or every 15 minutes. Well, as much as they all hoped it was every 3 hours, they were wrong. Duh! The viewers overwhelmingly voted to wake them up every 15 mintues. The phone calls began at midnight and rang out, loudly, throughout the entire household every 15 minutes. The PoV players had to be in the backyard bright and early too. Once they were woken up for the last time, they had one minute to get outside, or they wouldn’t get to play, and the other houseguests were not allowed to come out and watch. The players this time were Janelle, Boogie (**snicker**), Erika, Howie Jackass, Dr. Will and Diane.

They all get up and hustle out to the backyard when the final annoying phone call rang out to be greeted by 6 chairs that look strikingly like electric chairs, and a disembodied female voice telling them to all take a seat. On a table by their chairs were several devices, intended to distract the players during this game, like goggles, headphones (ringing out with the loud shrieking wake up calls) and maggots. They were facing 2 giant TV screens and had ultra bright lights shining in their faces, like an interrogation scene in a movie. The gist of it was this…the TV screen would show words or phrases, spelled backward, one letter at a time. The first person to ring in and guess correctly got to take one of the distractions and put it on another player. First one to guess 3 words or phrases correctly won the game. Guess incorrectly, you are out of the game.

Boogie (**giggle**) guessed first and guessed correctly. He put Diane’s feet in bucket of maggots (ewwww). He guessed correctly again and put headphones on Howie Jackass. Then Dr. Will guessed, but he pulled the trigger too soon and only guessed part of the phrase and was out. Then Janelle guessed correctly, and instead of putting a hinderance on Boogie (**laughs**), she put goggles on Diane to block her vision. Hmmmm. The next correct answer came from Boogie (**snort**) winning him the PoV. He jumped out of his chair and began shouting and celebrating, kicking a pair of goggles, which broke and cut his toe. Stupid asshat.

Then came the first luxury competition. Nearly 30 days into the game and they haven’t had one of these yet. Hmmmm. They split into two groups and each had to sit in a regulation NASCAR racer which was on a spinning table in the backyard. When the whistle blew, they all had to pile out, perform a set of tasks (filling the gas tank, cleaning the windshield, changing a tire and putting some dumbass stickers on the car) and jump back in the car and blow the horn. Whoever did it faster won the luxury. The prize was a private screening of the movie Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, with popcorn, sodas and candy. Boogie couldn’t participate because of his dreadful toe injury, but it was stated that if his team won, he’d get to share in the prize. His team won. The HoH room had been transformed into a mini-theater and Dr. Will nearly lost his mind eating candy (he’s been on slop rations).

After the movie, and the room was turned back into the Pepto-Bismol pink palace that is Janelle’s room, a big pow-wow was held with the season 6 people. She has to put a new person up on the block. They all, of course, want her to put Dr. Will up to break up the Chilltown alliance, but she wants to put Diane up. She tries to say that she is with them, but then Howie Jackass reminds her that she came to him and told him that whatever happened, Diane could NOT win the PoV this week, somewhat indicating her true intentions. He called Janelle out on that and backed her into a corner. She whined that she is doing what is best for her in this game which infuriated the whiny bitch James. He complained that his nominations were for the good of the alliance, not himself and it isn’t fair that she is playing for her self. It just isn’t fair…then he ran out of the room like a girl, crying. Okay, he did NOT run out of the room crying like a little bitch, but you could just tell that he wanted to. Little bitch. I am beginning to dislike him more than Howie Jackass. I didn’t think that was possible.

So, in the end, Janelle went against her alliance and put up Diane to go against Erika for eviction tonight. I truly think that is the end of Janelle. Her alliance will go after her now because she did nothing to help them get rid of Chilltown. And honestly, the longer Dr. Will and Boogie (**hahahahahahahahaha**) remain in the house, the more dangerous they become. They will end up the final two if the house insn’t careful.

Tune in tonight at 7pm CST on CBS to see which of the girls goes home, then the competition for the new HoH. Please, oh please, let it be someone other than a season 6 person.

The show started at 9PM EST. Despite my asking that the show be taped for my review, it wasn’t. Can you believe it? Useless reviews with a side of useless topped with extra useless this season. (I better get these socks pulled up for the next season of Amazing Race!)

By process of elimination, I determined that Michelle had been eliminated. I have no idea about the vote totals or such nonsense. I do, however, felt that she wasn’t going to make the NBC cut. I don’t know why, really. I found her terribly funny. Then again, I found Day Phan funny, and despite his win, where’s “The DAT PHAN show” that we all expected? These comics get a development deal with NBC, not a guaranteed show. I guarantee THAT. Check out Michelle Balan at a club near you, or visit her online.

Before the boys went to work, there was another comedian for your enjoyment. Can someone tell me who it was? Was it funny?

Then I came home and tuned in. The boys were going back to work. Josh had a strong set. He really owns his comedy, and brings you along for the ride. I was friendly with a stand-up comedian, Gord Paynter, who is blind. What makes him successful, in my mind, is his ability to make an audience laugh at the strange things surrounding him, and his disability, as he manages through a world without vision. Josh does the same, bringing us into his world and helping us laugh at the seemingly absurd. And while we laugh, dare I say, we learn a little compassion. Comedy is often a reflection on society, but it is also an avenue for changing attitudes. I don’t suppose that any of the comedians are champions of change while competing in a reality based television show, but comedy is what it is, regardless of the platform.

But enough of my little After School Special jargon. On to Chris Porter’s. I think this guy has all the makings of the next LCS champ, but last night, as he prowled the stage, he spoke more than he joked. Many of his jokes were tremendous, but the social grandstanding of it all took too long. There is a balance between leading an audience to a point and leading an audience to disdain. Chris fell somewhere in between. He wasn’t the worst I’ve seen in this category, but he didn’t make me laugh enough to care about his comedy. Didn’t bode himself well going into the voting for the finale. Was this self-destruction? Who am I kidding? This is a huge popularity contest. Nothing more. Exhibit A: DAT PHAN. (Hey, you can blame me. I voted for him.)

Ty had what seemed like the most polished set. He was crisp, funny and succinct right up to the end where he tried to get serious. That brought the tone down. He was able to mildly redeem himself with the lazy eye joke, but my wife, who was in the room and not paying attention, could only comment, “Did he just mess that up?” It certainly messed up the ebb and flow of his performance.

So folks, voting is likely already over. Next week, on the season finale, we find out who is in the finale. Which is weird since it is the finale. If we are supposed to vote, when do we vote and how do we find out who won?

Can this be any more confusing?

Yes. Apparently there was an online version of Last Comic Standing at the NBC site. The two finalists of that competition will appear next week on TV. To this I ask, if you weren’t funny enough to make the show, what makes you funny enough for the finale?

But who am I to produce a reality TV show…?

I’d ask for forgiveness, but I suspect no one really cares. If you’ve had enough with my useless excuses, stop reading now. The rest of this post is full of excuses.

Firstly, as you may or may not know, I was struck by lightning last week. Okay, that is a bit of a stretch. The tree in front of my house was struck by lightning, causing the surge of mother nature’s electrical syrup to run through the cables and wires of my home rendering both my TV and computer useless. I wasn’t able to watch the episode two weeks ago, and all I could report would be from the NBC website. Having read that site at work the following day, I realized they reported the events better than I could, and they included links.

Secondly, I have no idea what they are doing now. I figured the episode I missed was the big finale, and that we would vote and then they would announce a winner. Not so. Apparently, the people voted, and four comedians continued, but Roz went home. Glad she enjoyed her experience. I can’t say I enjoyed her comedy. Not my kind of funny, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be yours. Support Roz online by visiting her Comedy Central website.

Thirdly, I have to blame myself. Two weeks ago I complained that the show was more Dramedy and not enough comedy. Producers must have heard what I said and have focused solely on the comedy now. I’m not going to be one to repost the funniest jokes of the night either. Stand-up comedy is best when experienced live, in the moment, feeding from an audience. It does not translate well into the written word. And since there is no “house” stuff, or challenges, I suppose I have nothing more to report?

Now we’ll get the latest round or rounds out of the way. I suppose we are going to vote, and then perhaps vote again, before Chris Porter wins.
